My artistic research explores the profound boundary where the ancestral density of stone meets the immaterial vibration of light. I conceive of sculpture not as a static mass, but as a living organism, a vehicle for a primordial energy that seeks to reveal itself through stone.

 

In my work, stone represents the Body: a silent, tactile, and age-old anchor. Light represents the Soul: a fluid and dynamic breath that awakens the inert. My practice is a constant dialogue between these two opposites. The artwork is born at the precise moment of their fusion, where light ceases to be an external physical phenomenon and becomes an endogenous event, a truth that dwells at the heart of matter.

 

By juxtaposing the darkness of the stone with the vibration of light, I try to reflect the condition of being: a finite structure that hides, in its deepest core, a spark of infinity.
