The Secret
The "The Secret" series is conceived as an exploration of the threshold between the visible and the invisible, between mineral density and the immateriality of the spirit. Each work appears as an absolute monolithic volume, perfect and seamless stone forms that house an inaccessible and luminous soul within.
The profound message of the series arises from the tension between two primordial elements that here merge into a single entity:
Stone as guardian of the inviolable: stone is not a mere support, but represents the physical boundary, the ancestral body that brooks no violation. Its monolithic nature symbolizes the integrity of a solid shell that protects a profound secret from the outside world. In this dialogue, matter becomes silence, weight, and an impassable boundary.
Light as endogenous truth: at the center of this solid body resides light, understood not as an external reflection, but as an energy intrinsic to the matter itself. It is a light born from an invisible void, a vital essence that cannot be touched or possessed, but only perceived through its radiation. The philosophical core lies in the interplay of these opposites. Light does not tear the stone, but passes through its natural pores and fissures: filtering through the mineral's organic grain, it transforms the rock's density into a radiant membrane. The small openings in the matter thus become constellations, the sole witnesses to a fiery core vibrating within a body that seems never to have been violated.
Through "The Secret," the artist conveys a message about the nature of interiority: every finite form conceals an infinity. The viewer is confronted with a paradox in which stone ceases to be a mere mass and becomes a sanctuary, and light ceases to be a physical phenomenon and becomes a spiritual presence, revealing that the deepest truth shines in intimacy, protected by the secrecy of matter.
